Aethos Atelier was founded in Paris by two Franco American architects who both carry more than 20 years of international design experience. That background informs every project we take on, combining the insight of seasoned practice with the curiosity of a new atelier.

We shape environments that do more than house programs. They become living ecosystems. We design to Restore balance, Rejuvenate energy, Activate connection, Nourish community, and Discover possibility.

Our practice is both laboratory and atelier, where research and design work side by side. We draw on architecture, interiors, strategy, and experience design to create places that are intelligent, humane, and layered.

Meet Kristin, our sustainable design specialist. She brings together ecological thinking and thoughtful aesthetics to create environments that are both functional and environmentally responsible. With a bicultural background and a strong interest in ecological innovation, Kristin offers a modern perspective across residential, workplace, hospitality, cultural, and educational projects.

Her work is guided by a commitment to reducing environmental impact without compromising on design quality or client goals. Kristin’s approach blends French design sensibility with forward-thinking tools and technologies. By integrating sustainable strategies and staying current with evolving best practices, she ensures that her designs are efficient, elegant, and built for long-term performance.

Eric Gratacap

Founder - President - Architect

HMONP, LEED AP

Meet Eric, our design expert who brings a thoughtful approach to solving complex architectural challenges. With a strong ability to maximize the potential of each structure, Eric contributes to a wide range of projects, including cultural centers, university campuses, hotels, homes, and offices. He has a refined skill for navigating the complexities of three-dimensional design.

Eric also serves as our Building Information Modeling (BIM) specialist. He stays up to date with emerging technologies and design innovations, helping to integrate technical precision with creative thinking. His strength lies in combining design and technology to develop solutions that are functional, visually clear, and user-focused — consistently meeting, and often exceeding, project expectations.
